This style of artwork began at the end of 2020 when I discovered a new way of creating portraits. I embraced and developed a more unconventional method, using a white outline, and choosing only 4 colours to use for each portrait. I use various shades of the 4 colours, and occasionally use symbols depending on what the individual wants. I would even go as far as to say that this is a spiritual style of creating portraits, as I like to erase all original backgrounds and create a more natural, less distracting environment so that the viewer can fully appreciate the subject, that is the individual(s). The colours also represent the client as I ask them to provide any 4 colours they desire and include any symbols they may want, again reiterating a more spiritual, personal style of art.
